Our university emphasizes internationalization, informatization, and future-oriented education at the institutional level, supported by comprehensive administrative software and hardware resources. Since its establishment, this department has aligned with university policies to cultivate talents with spiritual, professional, and humanistic qualities. By stressing the importance of foundational knowledge in law and political science for public administration, the department has developed the following three major features over the years:
- Fostering modern administrative professionals with global, digital, and forward-looking perspectives;
- Balancing public administration, law, political science, and other social sciences, with well-rounded faculty and curriculum, promoting interdisciplinary teaching and research;
- Promoting diversified education and embracing the social responsibility of civic education and cultural enhancement.
Looking ahead, the department will continue to fulfill its educational vision, with public administration as its core, aiming to establish an integrated department combining teaching and research. Through issue-oriented teaching approaches, the department will shape itself into both a “cradle for cultivating comprehensive administrative and management capabilities” and a “key center for public administration research.” It will also pursue strategic cooperation with international research institutes, domestic government agencies, and nonprofit organizations to enhance graduates’ competitiveness and the department’s influence in the field.
